Went out with Tom at the weekend. He thought it would be funny to take “au naturale” pictures of me - I decided to post-process one. At least i can say it is a true reflection of me - i wasn’t doing a false smile! Not quite sure of the expression - i think i was mid smirk. Unfortunately i don’t always look like my Twitter profile picture.

I went away with my family for a few days to Belgium… i very much enjoyed the Eurostar experience, as the disabled seats are in first class! No complaints there! I got to speak some French, and eat way too many chocolates - reckon gained about 3 stone in just 4 days! Chocolates for breakfast… lunch…. tea… bedtime… midnight snack…

Today i went to an absolutely wonderful wedding - Naomi and Dave’s. It really was lovely to be there, and share the day with the happy couple. This morning the weather looked a little onimous with rain, but on the way to the wedding the sun was shining just in time to set the perfect autumnal scene.

So i went to London this weekend for my brother’s birthday. I was going to stay longer but things didn’t quite work out as plans changed etc, but i’m glad to be home.

We went to a place called “Jerusalem” in Rathbone Place, W1. It was nice, the food was good and i managed to order a cuppa when everyone was ordering coffee, so all in all, a good eve!

My best French friend Gayle came over from France for a weekend with her boyfriend, Benoit (Buddah). It was great to see them, especially as we’d had a death in the family, so their presence was a breath of fresh air :)!

I’ve been working on designing a website for a project called “Time to Change Dorset” for a while now, and finally the website is up and running www.timetochangedorset.co.uk .

To help promote the campaign, and the website, Time to Change Dorset turned up at this year’s Beach Live festival on Weymouth seafront last weekend. The weather was glorious, i managed a tan (well i had a white strap mark from my watch) and i also met up with my good friend Chris afterwards.

The day didn’t go exactly to plan, and i did end up gatecrashing some great friends of mine who have the most gorgeous son.

All in all however, the promotion of Time to Change was a big success! I acquired some free beer mats which i intend to place in all the local pubs to help promote the cause. Any excuse for a pub crawl!!!!

Promoting the campaign...

It’s been a little bit of a whirlwind few days, which i’ll go into one day soon. Mum and i managed to escape the commotion and went for a day trip out to Swanage. It was a nice day, good weather, and i did manage to enjoy myself, albeit at the expense of £10 wasted on a “grabber” machine in the amusement arcade trying to win a Peppa Pig. Not wanting to give up, and being sure statistically that one of the claws would be a tighter grip, i kept on tenaciously, but as always was so easily fooled…

Later on i managed to find a Peppa Pig in a niche boutique which was £11.25… so i guess you could say i didn’t waste over its value!

Mum and i managed to resist eating naughty, but ravishingly yummy food in this new place called ‘Chococo’ after much deliberation. We miraculously concurred that opting for the healthy option of brown bread sandwiches (get us, not even white bread!!) would be the wise option. We did so well… sort of… until we returned later in the afternoon to Chococo for their chocolate fondue to share. Oh well. Life’s too short!

We made a quick trip to the railway, to see the old steam trains. My Grandparents used to take us on the ‘Santa Special’ as children around Christmas time, so it holds many fond memories. Among the trains, and people, i spotted this little luggage trolley, and decided i would snap it!

Paddington Bear comes to stay!

Yesterday Darran and I went out for the evening, and ended up waiting to meet up with friends at the beach. On our way we stopped along by Sandbanks to take pictures. The sun was setting and i took advantage!
